CanHist Tours has designed an unforgettable 15-day journey in Fall 2026

Join CanHist Tours for an unforgettable journey in the Fall of 2026, as we explore the significant battlefields of the Canadian First and Second World Wars.


Over the course of 15 immersive days our tour will have you

  • Walk the storied grounds of Flanders and Belgium in the poignant days leading up to November 11th.
  • Be among the first to experience the newly renovated Menin Gate, a solemn tribute to those who served.
  • Accompanied by our knowledgeable WW1 Guides, delve into the remarkable history of Canada's Expeditionary Forces from 1914 to 1918, and hear the deeply moving tales that shaped a nation.   
  • Stand in the very spot where Colonel John McCrae penned his iconic poem "In Flanders Fields."
  • Stand on Juno Beach for Remembrance Day, and participate in the November 11th Ceremony at the Juno Beach Centre
  • Visit the D-Day beaches & learn the remarkable stories of Canadians who fought in the battles of liberate Normandy in 1944
  • Visit other significant sites such as Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele, Ypres, and Beaumont-Hamel—each a vital chapter in Canada's story of remembrance.
